Paul Walker is honored in a new retrospective of The Fast & Furious franchise that is whetting fans’ appetites for the next installment in the popular movie series. Originally called Fast & Furious 7, the film title has been shortened to just Furious 7.

The first trailer is expected to debut on Saturday, November 1, nearly one year after Walker tragically died in a car accident. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the 40-year-old actor was driving in Los Angeles with pal Roger Rodas when he crashed into a light pole and trees. Both men succumbed to their injuries.

Walker had been on hiatus from the Furious 7 production at the time of the accident, and was expected back to return to set soon to finish filming his role in the movie. His brothers Caleb and Cody Walker ultimately stepped in to complete the part.

Now in The Road to Furious 7, fans can see not only highlights from the six movies leading up to the new one, but scenes with Walker that remind us why his death is such a loss to both the franchise, and movies in general.

The producers say of the new film, “For our extended FAST & FURIOUS family, we have set out to make the very best movie yet. We are excited to continue our journey together.” Furious 7 races into theaters on April 3, 2015.
