Stephen Collins allegedly believes his wife Faye Grant tried to use his stunning 2012 admission of child molestation as a way of getting most of the couple’s $14 million in assets during a prolonged and nasty divorce battle.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Grant claims the couple has more than $5 million in property; a vintage guitar collection valued at $100,000; $40,000 in art; and other assets that total more than $14 million.

Beyond his big paydays for more than a decade on “7th Heaven,” Collins is said to have earned $40,000 per episode for “Revolution.”

As Gossip Cop has reported, the actor’s legal team is accusing Grant of essentially blackmailing Collins with his taped confession, allegedly repeatedly threatening to give it to the media unless she received “millions of dollars more” than her legal entitlement.

Grant has denied that she was involved in leaking the Collins tape to the media.

She’s called her estranged husband a pedophile who refuses to get help, and claims he once fantasized about having sex with his own child.

Gossip Cop will have updates.
