Stephen Collins has, not surprisingly, been fired from “Scandal” in the wake of his horrifying admission to child molestation.
The actor, best known for his decade-plus as a pastor on “7th Heaven,” played a news anchor named Reed Wallace on “Scandal” during the hit show’s second season.
Collins was set to reprise the role on the current Season 4.
Last month he tweeted, “Happy to say I did another episode of #Scandal. Had a gr8 time. Wish I could say more but @ShondaRhimes would have to kill me.”
On Wednesday, ABC announced that Collins will no longer appear on the show.
Collins was fired from Ted 2 on Tuesday, and resigned from the Screen Actors Guild national board.
