Jimmy Kimmel became a registered Uber driver in order to “give rides and change lives” on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” — and his first pickup was a truly epic journey.
The late-night host picked up a man preparing to return to the African country of Gabon, who was shocked to see Kimmel in the driver’s seat: “Oh my God — no f*cking way!”
Kimmel then took him shopping for souvenirs at a Hollywood gift shop (managing to squeeze in a Matt Damon diss), ensuring that the man’s family would have nice reminders of his time in Los Angeles.
