Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have reportedly split. The news was first reported by E!, although neither star’s camp has confirmed the breakup.
The Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay frontman began dating over the summer, although they never publicly acknowledged the relationship. She was previously with Nicholas Hoult, while Martin’s marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow ended last spring.
Lawrence was spotted at Coldplay’s set at the iHeartRadio Festival in September and was later seen supporting Martin’s performance with Kings of Leon at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this month. The duo was also seen boarding a private plane together in California.
Gossip Cop busted various tabloid rumors about the couple in recent weeks, including the In Touch assertion that Lawrence’s photo hacking would reveal “secrets” about their relationship, an OK! report claiming she was having Martin’s baby, and speculation that Lawrence and the rocker were living together.
Lawrence recently said that what she wants in a boyfriend is someone who “isn’t afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have a big, passionate love.” She also expressed interest in Larry David, who responded by saying, “It’s a shame I’m 40 years older.” Gossip Cop has reached out to reps and will have updates.
