‘DWTS’: Alfonso & Witney Share Injury Updates – ARTICLE

Alfonso Ribeiro is feeling better after hurting himself on Monday's "Dancing with the Stars."

"It's amazing what treatment will do," Alfonso told Access Hollywood as we visited him during "Dancing" rehearsals on Thursday. "I've been going to my treatment all week long. It is starting to pay off and I think the biggest thing is that we're doing a dance this week that doesn't require me to do a fast twitch motion. So, that's helping a ton because it's really just allowing it to rest all week, and so I'm feeling better. I've got a lot of tape holding me together right now."

Alfonso said his pain is not where you might expect, after he discussed pulling his groin on "DWTS."

"It's technically my upper leg. So, it's not the actual groin itself," he said. "It's my upper leg. It's the little muscles that kind of support all balance and all of that."

On Monday's "Dancing," a brief teaser clip showed that Witney Carson, Antonio's pro-partner hurt herself in rehearsals, but she told Access her injury isn't that bad.

"I just fell on my back and it's not as bad as you think," she said. "It's not excruciating or anything. It's just a little bit sore and so I'm good. But, we're both injured."

Injured or not, the pair plan to compete on "Dancing" this Monday, and they are getting ready for the show, with two dances in store – their pair dance and a group dance.

"It's gonna be fun and so we're all just excited," Alfonso said of the group number. "It's gonna have this really kind of carnival feel to it and I think it's gonna be really creative and fun."

"Dancing" continues Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
