‘Daily Show’, ‘Colbert Report’ Going Live on Election Night

Comedy Central is going live on election night.

Both The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report will air special back-to-back episodes with live coverage of the midterms elections on Nov. 4, the network announced Tuesday.

On The Daily Show’s special episode — called "Democalypse 2014: America Remembers It Forgot to Vote" and airing at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT — host Jon Stewart will be joined via satellite by Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Likewise, The Colbert Report’s coverage — titled "Midterms ‘014: Detour to Gridlock: An Exciting Thing That I Am Totally Interested In—Wait! Don’t Change the Channel. Look at this Video of a Duckling Following a Cat Dressed Like a Shark Riding a Roomba! ‘014!" and airing at 11:30  p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT — will see host Stephen Colbert joined by The Daily Dish's Andrew Sullivan.

Both studio-shot episodes will also be available to view through a multiplatform streaming experience on cc.com and through the Comedy Central App.
