Bill Murray was among the high-profile guests at last weekend’s George Clooney-Amal Alamuddin wedding, and is one of the first people besides the bride and groom to talk about the big event.
“It was a wonderful time,” he told a reporter during a golf event in Scotland on Thursday.
Did he cry?
“I got moist,” said Murray. “I’ll get moist. I will.”
He described Clooney and Alamuddin as “two wonderful people.”
Murray was asked what he got the newlyweds as a wedding gift.
“You don’t buy them anything,” said Murray, adding that guests had been asked not to bring anything for the happy couple.
We’re guessing Clooney and Alamuddin didn’t have a standard registry.
