A video released by TMZ yesterday showed NFL player Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée – now his wife – so hard she was knocked out.
Rice had previously received a two-game suspension for the incident, which took place in an elevator in an Atlantic City hotel. BuzzFeed News reported that "an employee of the hotel told TMZ the NFL saw the elevator footage before imposing the suspension, which an NFL spokesperson denied".
