Justin Bieber was arrested and charged with assault and dangerous driving in Ontario, Canada on Friday.
The pop star’s ATV reportedly collided with a minivan in the township of Perth near his hometown of Stratford.
According to a police statement, an investigation “revealed that after colliding, the driver of the ATV and an occupant of the minivan engaged in a physical altercation.”
There were no reported injuries from the collision, but law enforcement sources wouldn’t say whether injuries had resulted from the ensuing fight.
Bieber was taken into custody and then released on a “promise to appear” in court on September 29.
Gossip Cop reported that Bieber and Selena Gomez were seen riding an ATV on Friday, during a trip she described as “peaceful.”
