Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks have broken up after more than two years together, Gossip Cop has learned.
The breakup was said to be mutual, and that they will remain friends, though we’re exclusively told Sparks is “sad.”
Derulo and Sparks were most recently seen posing together on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards on August, 24.
Last year, engagement rumors swirled around the couple after Derulo admitted that his song “Marry Me” was inspired by his relationship with Sparks.
Her rep issued a “no comment” when asked about the split.
