George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are married!
It’s official, Gossip Cop confirms!
The couple said “I do” in a star-studded wedding on Saturday in Venice.
In a statement to Gossip Cop, Clooney’s rep says, “George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were married today in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy.”
The ceremony was held at the Aman Canal Grande hotel, and officiated by Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome.
Clooney’s parents George and Nina were in attendance, along with Alamuddin’s parents Ramzi and Baria.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, famous guests included Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana.
Bill Murray, Anna Wintour and Bono were also on hand.
A second ceremony is expected to be held on Monday, prompting city officials to close parts of Venice as a safety precaution.
This is the second marriage for Clooney, who was wed to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
Clooney famously said numerous times that he would never tie the knot again — until, of course, he met Alamuddin, to whom he proposed in April.
Gossip Cop will continue to have coverage of the nuptials through Monday.
