HollywoodLife loves making up a good scandal.
The webloid also loves to capitalize on other people’s misfortunes.
And that’s why HollywoodLife ran this story on Sunday evening: “Jennifer Lawrence Nude Photos: Will She Be Fired From X-Men? The Truth.”
“Considering that one of the photos allegedly shows Jennifer in a compromising position in her Mystique makeup, many have questioned whether her role in future ‘X-Men’ films will be safe,” writes the site.
The blog’s article goes on:
“’Jennifer’s role in future X-Men films will not be affected at all over the photo leak,’ a source close to the franchise has revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. ‘People close to the film are aware things like this happen and it shouldn’t do anything to her role because she never did it on purpose.’”
HollywoodLife then adds dramatically, “We’re so glad that Jen will be safe — not that we had any doubts — but one can never know.”
Please.
No one expects Lawrence to lose her job.
No one was even wondering it.
Except for HollywoodLife, which decided to spread this rumor only so that the blog could run a sensational headline about Lawrence’s new leaked naked pictures, and falsely claim to have an “exclusive” on a non-issue.
Shameful.
