Fans have been buzzing about the possibility of a third "Ghostbusters," which could reportedly include an all-female cast – and now Bill Murray has weighed in.
The actor, who starred in the first two installments of the movie franchise in 1984 and 1989, revealed his ideas for casting when chatting with the Toronto Star.
"Melissa [McCarthy] would be a spectacular Ghostbuster," the actor said. "And Kristen Wiig is so funny – God, she’s funny!"

The actor rounded out his cast wish list with a "Mad Men" alum and superhero movie star.
"I like this girl Linda Cardellini a lot. And Emma Stone is funny," he continued. "There are some funny girls out there."
According to the Huffington Post, "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig is in talks to direct the movie.
