Days after Maksim Chmerkovskiy said on “Watch What Happens Live” that he’s no longer close to Kirstie Alley, but wished her the best, the former “Cheers” star tweeted, “Dear Sir..after you have ass raped me there is really no reason to include ‘I wish you the best’.. It’s rhetorical.”
While Alley did not specifically say her tweet was directed at her former dance partner, the comment comes on the heels of Chmerkovskiy telling Andy Cohen that he and Alley were friends “until recently” and had a “good relationship,” but “she stopped getting along with me.”
“I think the world of her. I’m not judging people by their religion. I’m Jewish,” he said, adding perhaps as a reference to her beliefs in Scientology, “I don’t really believe in science fiction, whatever.”

According to Chmerkovskiy, who will no longer be a pro on “Dancing With The Stars,” a mutual pal told him, “Now that I’m associating with other people, that [Alley] can’t be associated with, I am no longer to be spoken with.”
Again, while it’s not 100 percent clear that Alley was referring to the dancer — who’s been hanging recently with Leah Remini, who left Scientology — she later tweeted, “To those who believe nasty gossip spewed by others, please stop following. To those who know me, carry on,” and “I have a great idea!!! Why don’t we all confess the things WE have done, INSTEAD of what others have done. #cowards.”
