Beyonce Kisses Jay Z, Blue Ivy Before Video Vanguard Award Acceptance Speech at 2014 VMAs

United they stand. After performing at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Aug. 24, Beyonce accepted the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award from none other than her husband, Jay Z, who made a rare public appearance with the couple's daughter, Blue Ivy.

Taking a moment to kiss both her little girl and her spouse of six years, the "Drunk in Love" superstar was overcome with emotion. As she turned to the crowd, trophy in hand, she teared up and shook her head.

"I have nothing to say, but I'm filled with so much gratitude," the singer, 32, gushed to wild applause from the crowd at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. "I just thank God for this moment. Blue, I love you, my beloved, I love you, my fans, I love you, MTV, I love you."

The singer's united family front comes amid increasing speculation about her marriage to Jay Z. Rumors of trouble in paradise have plagued the couple ever since footage leaked of Solange and Jay's elevator fight after the Met Gala in May. They embarked on a joint tour this summer, but sources previously told Us Weekly that the "Pretty Hurts" singer is "done" after their remaining two On the Run dates in Paris.
