Megan Fox: I “Roast” Men Who Try To Flirt With Me

(Cosmopolitan)

Megan Fox opens up about the power she feels as a woman and mother in the August issue of Cosmopolitan.

Fox explains, “Women don’t have to be desperate and try so hard. Allow yourself to be strong and powerful and men will be crawling on their hands and knees.”

She says, ”When I’m working, I refuse to flirt. If someone tries, it becomes an endless roast. I’ll say, ‘Nice beard, buddy’ or ‘You look fancy!’ I know he’s spent an hour doing that specific thing to his hair, and the minute I point it out, his game is shattered.”

“I like to have men off their guard. Then you are in charge. You don’t ever have to feel like men have power over you,” adds the actress.

Even so, Fox shares, “I consider myself a ‘girl’s girl’ in that I’m not competitive, jealous, or catty.”

“But I don’t have a ton of female friends — I have one. Her name is Mindy and she’s a facialist. I don’t have many guy friends, either,” reveals the star. “I’ve never been a social butterfly. I don’t feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that’s all I need.”

The actress also discusses feeling the “power that comes with having a child.”

While Fox admits that it can be “hard to resist letting yourself fall apart physically, because when you’re taking care of a child with little or no help, there isn’t time to take care of you,” she says, “you’ve done something incredible that no man could ever do or understand.”
