With her sun-kissed blonde tresses and California-girl style, it's no surprise that summer is Lauren Conrad's season of choice for its perfect weather, outdoor-entertaining potential and beach-ready hairstyles.
"During the summer I definitely prefer lower-maintenance," the Paper Crown designer, 28, tells Us Weekly of her go-to hairstyle. "I try to let it air dry and not style it too much."

Conrad, who became engaged to William Tell in October, trades her signature topknot for an effortless 'do. "Summer styles are fun because they're a little less fussy," she tells Us. "So I go for a little more of a boho vibe, so a loose fishtail braid."
