Justin Bieber has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the Federal Aviation Administration’s investigation of his flight to the Super Bowl earlier this year.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, it was alleged that Bieber and his entourage smoked so much pot on the private jet they flew to New Jersey, the pilots wore oxygen masks to avoid getting high.
A police report further claimed that the singer and his dad Jeremy were “extremely abusive verbally” to a female flight attendant, and refused to stop the “harassing behavior,” leading her to take “refuge” near the cockpit.
Now, more than five months later, it has been determined the claims were unsubstantiated.
The FAA says in a statement released Thursday:
“The FAA closed its investigation into allegations that passengers interfered with the flight crew on a Gulfstream G-IV aircraft that landed at Teterboro Airport on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. The FAA found no evidence that the passengers violated Federal Aviation Regulations.”
As we also reported at the time, Bieber’s flight was searched for drugs upon arrival from Canada, and he spent hours getting questioned at customs due to his pending criminal matters.
But this is now one issue at least that is officially case closed.
