Kingdom is described as a family saga set in Venice, Calif. against the backdrop of the renegade subculture of mixed martial arts (MMA). It is a world rife with complex characters and relationships that unfurl in surprising and deeply human ways.

Stevenson and Gainey will play the parents of Ryan Wheeler (Matt Lauria), a world-class athlete who had it all, including Lisa Prince (Kiele Sanchez), until his spiraling drug addition landed him in prison. Ryan is on good terms with his well-meaning mother, Marilyn (Stevenson), but has a tumultuous history with his rough-around-the-edges dad, Rick (Gainey). They will both appear in one episode.

Callen will appear in four episodes as Garo, a fight promoter who is a little "street" but also a savvy businessman. Garo is putting together a big fight and sets his sights on booking Ryan for the main event.

They join an ensemble that includes Grillo, Lauria, Sanchez, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas and Joanna Going. Byron Balasco is creator, executive producer and showrunner.

Stevenson is repped by TalentWorks and Pop Art Management. Gainey is repped by Domain Talent and manager Miriam Milgrom. Callen is repped by Innovative Artists.
