One year after Cory Monteith’s shocking death, his father Joe opens up in a new interview about mourning the loss of his famous son.
“I still miss him very much,” he tells ET Canada. “I still have the empty feeling inside.”
The “Glee” star died of an overdose last July.
Joe Monteith, who had been estranged from Cory for years before reconnecting in the last years of the actor’s life, says he was “shocked” by the death given his son’s passion for living.
“Cory was a likeable young man and if he was in the room, you’d be smiling,” explains Joe. “He enjoyed life.”
