Change the track! Lovesick singer Robin Thicke made yet another emotionally charged apology to his wife Paula Patton, onstage at the BET Awards on Sunday, June 29.

Looking tired and puffy eyed, the heartbroken crooner continued his very public reconciliation attempt, announcing to the crowd at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre, "Good evening, my name is Robin Thicke, I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife, and say, 'I miss you, and I’m sorry.' This is called 'Forever Love.'"
The 37-year-old singer, who split from wife Patton, 38, in February after 9 years of marriage, sat at a grand piano, appearing visibly moved and at times pausing the song to wipe his nose after a snivel. "Forever Love," a song from his new album Paula, left fans in no doubt as to his feelings.

“If you ever doubt it now, baby, I will be there picking you up," he sang. "You can lean on me any time, baby, for anything you want and need. Yeah, see, I don’t need any reason, memory, or a season. Every day I will believe that you and I are meant to be. You’re my forever love.”
An audience member says the star's emotional state was the talk of the show. "Robin appeared to be crying during and after his performance," the observer told Us Weekly.
After the performance, which saw illuminated graphics of Paula's name swirl in the background, host Chris Rock lightened the mood with a quip about the singer's endless apology performances. "He’s singing like she don’t know him," the comedian joked. "I miss the other song, the one that sounded like Marvin Gaye.” (A source told Us the joke was "supposed to be much meaner and it was toned down.”)
For her part, Patton has not responded to any of Thicke's very public declarations of love. The actress even danced to her former partner’s hit song "Blurred Lines" at a pre-Oscars party in March without appearing to feel awkward.
