Alexander Skarsgard and Ryan Kwanten shocked and titillated “True Blood” fans with their steamy sex scene that aired Sunday.

SPOILER – For the second episode of the final season, the two get hot and heavy during a dream sequence, which ended with Kwansten’s character, Jason Stackhouse, waking up alone in a church.
“Alex and I had been — not necessarily begging to work together — but we’d been pondering the thought, ‘What if we were ever put in a scene where it was just the two of us? What would happen?’” he said. “And this is what our illustrious writers came up with,” Kwanten explained to TVLine.
According to the actor, the sexy scene took “a couple hours” to shoot and wasn’t as awkward as one might think.
“I always have a lot of fun, and I think that’s the important thing to remember,” he added. “We’re just there to have fun and to stay true to the characters.”
Kwanten noted, “Thinking back to this particular scene, I just remember Alex and I laughing a lot.”
