What was the last awkward situation you were in and how did you handle it?

I met Hal Linden at a poker game last week, and mentioned to him that I had been at his home some 20 years ago. He looked confused, for good reason — because I had mistaken him for the much older (89-year-old) Hal Holbrook, and Linden is only 83. I believe I then handled it perfectly by saying: Well, it was wonderful working with your wife (Dixie Carter) on Designing Women.

When is the last time you went to a theater?

Three days ago. The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Game of Thrones.
