Ray J was arrested after a public disturbance in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday.
Police reportedly responded to the scene when hotel security asked the performer to leave the property and he refused.
When officers took Ray J into custody, he allegedly spat on one of the cops and later kicked out a patrol car window.
He was booked for trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest and battery of a police officer.
Early Saturday, he was being held on $20,000 bail.
It’s not yet clear what led to the initial disturbance at the hotel.
