Neighbors moved into the #1 spot in its first week.
The Seth Rogen-Zac Efron comedy will open to approximately $46 million, according to early estimates, beating The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($38 million) for the box office crown.
Third place should belong to The Other Woman with roughly $9 million.
Heaven Is For Real and Rio 2, each on pace for about $5.5 million, should battle for 4th place.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier should follow with $5 million or so.
Seventh place is a tight race between Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return and Moms’ Night Out, both of which are projected to earn $4 million.
Divergent and Brick Mansions are expected to round out the Top 10.
