MTV Orders Coming-of-Age Comedy Pilot (Exclusive)

MTV is looking to a celebrity to help inspire its latest scripted comedy.

The younger-skewing cable network has given a cast-contingent pilot order to an untitled half-hour from young writers Andy St. Clair and Paul O'Toole, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The untitled entry revolves around 22-year-old Andy, who after he catches his girlfriend cheating, accidentally rear ends a celebrity. Taking pity on Andy, the celebrity takes it upon himself to teach him how to man up.
