Jaycob Curlee broke down in tears after getting a standing ovation on Tuesday’s season 9 premiere of “America’s Got Talent.”

The 18-year-old contestant began crying as Howie Mandel led the crowd to their feet after his beautiful rendition of ”Waiting on the World to Change” by John Mayer.

Mel B went on stage to comfort Curlee, and later compared him to Ed Sheeran.

“Boy, that was just amazing,” she declared.

Heidi Klum told him, “You have a beautiful voice, and you have another fan right here.”

And Howard Stern said, “I would invest my money in you. You’re that good.”

It wasn’t until Mandel said that Curlee seemed like someone who has already lived a life that he revealed he was taken away from his drug-addled parents at 5 years old and placed into foster care.

“‘America’s Got Talent’ has now adopted you, and America loves you too,” Mandel sweetly told Curlee.
