“Angelina Jolie is one person who’s not happy about George Clooney’s engagement because she’s no fan of his fiancee and miffed that the two could knock her and Brad Pitt off their perch as America’s top celebrity humanitarians,” reports the National Enquirer.
This story is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.
According to the Enquirer, Jolie “took an instant dislike to Clooney’s high-powered bride-to-be, Amal Alamuddin.”
“Angelina’s fed up with all the fuss being made over Amal,” a so-called “insider” tells the outlet. “She’s tired of pals urging her to befriend Amal because of her impressive work as a humanitarian lawyer.”
Yes, we’re sure the world-famous humanitarian movie star is upset about the “all the fuss” over the humanitarian lawyer.
The Enquirer source goes on to explain, “Angelina’s worked hard to establish herself as THE celebrity humanitarian, but now that George has Amal on his arm, she feels threatened that she and Brad, who also does charity work, can be knocked off their pedestal.”
“Of course, Angie would never admit that, so instead she’s telling everyone that George is moving too fast with Amal,” alleges the tab insider.
Yes, we’re sure Angelina Jolie is talking to everyone about George Clooney’s love life.
The Enquirer spends lots and lots and lots of time publishing completely absurd stories about Jolie.
Recently, the tabloid has spread bogus rumors about how much she hates Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron and Kim Kardashian.
It also alleged that she warned Johnny Depp not to marry Amber Heard.
Now it’s repeating the same garbage about her “warning” Clooney not to wed Alamuddin.
None of it is true.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the story is “crazy.”
