Chris Brown has been sentenced to more than four additional months in jail for violating his probation in the Rihanna assault case.

The troubled performer appeared in a Los Angeles court on Friday and admitted that he committed a crime last October in Washington, D.C., where he’s accused of attacking a man named Parker Adams outside the W Hotel.

Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced Brown to 365 days behind bars, but he’ll get credit for the 116 days he’s already spent in rehab and the 59 days he’s spent in jail.

He was also ordered to attend regular therapy sessions.

Brown has been in custody since March, when he was booted from court-ordered treatment.

His Washington, D.C. assault trial is slated to begin in June.
