50 Cent may be a P-I-M-P, but a major league pitcher, he is not. The rapper, 38, took the mound at Citi Field in Queens on Tuesday, May 27, to throw out the first pitch before the New York Mets took on the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Dressed in a striped Mets jersey and sporting the team's blue-and-orange baseball cap, 50 lined up to begin the game. While he achieved good range with his throw, the path of the ball was less than big-league caliber.
The Animal Ambition performer missed home plate in a major way, throwing way outside of the strike zone, toward the photographers who were capturing the event.

"Just a bit outside…" sportscaster Bob Uecker said after the pitch.
50 Cent took it in stride, laughing with pitcher Jon Niese, who was by his side.
He later commented on the gaffe on Twitter, writing, "I'm a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO… The sh!t almost hit the camera man damn, if you look close you can see them moving the plate."
