TV Ratings: ‘Mindy Project’ Makes a Soft Return, ‘The Voice’ Dips

CBS notched a victories in both adults 18-49 (2.2 rating) and total viewers (14.5 million) on Tuesday night -- though NCIS (2.3 adults) shed two-tenths of a point from last week, falling below steady lead-out NCIS: LA (2.4 adults). At 10 p.m., Person of Interest (1.9 adults) was off only a tenth of a point.

Marking a low for the season, The Voice (3.0 adults) shed four-tenths of a point on NBC. About a Boy (2.1 adults) grew a tenth of a point, while Growing Up Fisher (1.7 adults) matched last week's score. NBC took a 2.0 rating in the key demo and 7.6 million viewers -- second place by both measures.

Agents of SHIELD (1.8 adults) fell three-tenths of a point to tie a series low on ABC. The Goldbergs (1.5 adults) fell two-tenths from the prior episode, while Trophy Wife (1.0 adults) held even. A repeat of Resurrection edged past the final showing of canceled Mind Games in its first night in the time slot. ABC took a 1.3 rating with adults under 50 and 3.9 million viewers.

Falling two-tenths and matching its series low, Glee clocked a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 on Fox. The Mindy Project, airing back to back episodes, had a 1.0 adults rating in both half-hours -- losses of half of a point from the last showing in January. Fox took a 0.9 adults rating and 2.3 million viewers.
