Sundance TV is going back down The Red Road.
The cable network has renewed the family drama starring Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa for a second season.
The drama about two clashing communities -- a small New York town and its neighboring Native American tribe -- will return for a second round of six episodes in 2015.
"The Red Road tells the tale of a shocking conflict which plays out in a very specific place -- the land that the Native Americans live on literally oozes danger. It’s a show about what happens when you try to bury the truth, and the devastating impact of that. We’re proud of this tremendously talented cast and can’t wait to see where creator Aaron Guzikowski takes this story in season two,” Sundance president Sarah Barnett said in announcing the renewal Monday.

The renewal comes as Sundance continues to expand its commitment to original scripted fare. Red Road joins a roster that includes Rectify, which returns for its second season in June, as well as the Maggie Gyllenhaal miniseries The Honourable Woman and recently announced One Child.
Martin Henderson and Julianne Nicholson co-star in the drama, which hails from Guzikowski and Sarah Condon (Bored to Death). Production on season two will begin later this year in Georgia.
