Prince George’s Adorable Playdate Video in New Zealand: Watch Him Play, Smile, Meet Other Babies

All hail His Royal Majesty of Cuteness!! As Us Weekly reported earlier today, April 9, baby Prince George, 8 months, joined parents Kate Middleton and Prince William for his very first royal engagement inside the Blundell Room at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand —- and video footage of the future King of England’s playdate with local toddlers gives an illuminating glimpse at the adorable royal baby’s personality.

While the future monarch crawled across the crowded room, proud father William marveled: "He goes right up to the door and peers through." His mom Duchess Kate was seen wiping dribble from his chin as she shifted him from hip to hip.

The latest milestone from George? "He's teething!" Middleton told other guests.

Like all kids, George was slightly fussy and fickle about his toys: Grabbing a purple toy tambourine, throwing down a blue plastic block and banging on a baby drum set with a little girl named Isabaella Tunstall.

"Isabella and George had a lot of fun on the drums," dad Ryan Tunstall told reporters. "It was a pleasure sharing our beautiful baby with the duke and duchess. The whole thing was a wonderful highlight."
