Miley Cyrus broke down in tears during a special performance on Wednesday, hours after her beloved dog Floyd died.

Standing before thousands of fans who got to watch the singer’s soundcheck in Boston, Cyrus dedicated “Landside” to her late pet.
“I just wanted to do this song for him because we used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together,” she explained.
Cyrus cried as she sang during several tracks, and sister Noah came on stage to offer comfort.
The starlet’s official concert kicks off later Wednesday night.
