Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy got the second perfect score of the season on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday.
Following James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd last week, the pair earned 10s from all four judges after an intense tango.
Len Goodman told Davis, “You’re the first celebrity that has been able to match him and keep up with him… I’m a cranky old geezer [but] this is special.”
Carrie Ann Inaba, after saying she was “speechless,” also gushed about the couple’s amazing chemistry, saying, “From my heart, there is something so magical happening between you two.”
“This is dance, but it’s also life,” she said. “What you’re bringing out in Maks, and Maks what you’re unfolding in Meryl, is mind-boggling. it’s truly artistic excellence.”
She went on to Meryl, “You look like one of our pros,” and telling Maks, “Your best choreography ever!”
Bruno Tonioli also praised the choreogphray as “incredible,” and called the dance “spine-chilling.”
And guest judge Redfoo of LMFAO called the performance “out of this world,” noting, “I’ve never seen anything like that.”
