An alleged private conversation between James Franco and a teenage girl surfaced online on Wednesday — but the actor insists nothing improper took place.

In the chat, Franco appears to ask a 17-year-old named Lucy whether she wants to meet up, and if he should get a hotel room.
The two apparently connected after Lucy met the star at an autograph signing on Tuesday, and she tagged him in photos and videos on her Instagram account.
But after the leaked exchange made the Internet rounds, Franco seemingly tweeted that he’s “NOT” soliciting girls for sex.
“I’M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you,” he wrote.
It appears Franco may have been looking for nothing more than a connection.
