Kanye West was quietly booked in connection with his misdemeanor battery case, spending a little less than an hour in police custody in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The case concerns the star’s 2013 altercation with photographer Daniel Ramos at LAX Airport.
As part of his no contest plea earlier this month, the rapper was mandated to turn himself into authorities to count as time served, a standard practice for first-time offenders.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, West arrived at the LAPD station in Hollywood, had his mug shot and fingerprints taken, and spent a total of 49 minutes in custody, according to TMZ.
West’s deal requires him to stay out of legal trouble for two years and attend anger management therapy sessions.
