Divergent will open on top of the box office, with the Shailene Woodley-starring futuristic adventure expected to earn about $55 million this weekend, according to early estimates.
Another new movie, Muppets Most Wanted, is set to debut in second place with approximately $19 million, ahead of fellow kids flick Mr. Peabody and Sherman ($11 million).
The trio of 300: Rise of an Empire, Need for Speed and God’s Not Dead are battling for the #4 spot.
Each movie is tracking toward roughly $7.5 million.
Non-Stop should take in $6 million or so for seventh place, just ahead of The Grand Budapest Hotel ($5.5 million).
The Lego Movie ($4 million) and Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club ($3 million) should round out the Top 10.
