Gracie Gold has accepted high schooler Dyer Pettijohn’s adorable request that she go to prom with him.
Pettijohn asked the Olympic figure skater with a YouTube video that went viral earlier this week (see below).
Gold tweeted that the clip “melted my heart.”
On Wednesday, Pettijohn surprised Gold on “Extra” — and asked the athlete in person if she’d indeed make his dreams come true.
“If it works out, I would love to,” said Gold.
