Imagine if your taps had two settings: cold water and hot coffee – it is possible.
Ever wondered what would happen if you replaced the water in your water heating system with coffee? Wonder no more.
The Norwegian TV show Ikke gjør dette hjemme – "Don't Try This At Home" – put some ordinary instant coffee in a storage water heater.
They then turned up the temperature....
Then turned on the tap and... COFFEE CAME OUT OF IT.
So there's now the choice of cold water or hot coffee, from the same tap. You would never need to boil a kettle or go to Starbucks ever again.
It would certainly give a new spin on taking a shower.
