A month after inking Emmy winner Louis C.K. to an overall deal, the Louie star has landed a pilot order at FX.

C.K. is teaming with Zach Galifianakis for an untitled comedy pilot set to star the Hangover funnyman, the cable network announced Tuesday at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.

Details about the subject matter are being kept under wraps, but C.K. will co-write the project that was created by Galifianakis.

Galifianakis will executive produce alongside C.K., Blair Breard, Dave Becky and Andrea Pett-Joseph and Marc Gurvitz.

It marks the first sale for C.K.'s Pig Newton banner under the writer-producer-star's overall deal with FX Productions.

The comedy is one of 12 pilots FX Productions currently has in the works, as FX -- and FXX -- bulk up on originals. Its pilot roster includes Billy Crystal starrer The Comedian, You're the Worst from WeedsStephen FalkTracy Morgan's Death Pact, Denis Leary's Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and the Charlie Kaufman comedy How & Why, among others.
