TV Ratings: ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Finale Inches Up, ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘HIMYM’ Hold Steady

Sleepy Hollow closed out its freshman season on Fox Monday night with a two-hour finale. The episode averaged a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49, up a tenth of a point from its last two outings. Premiering to a 3.5 rating in the demo back in September, the latest time-shifting stats have Sleepy Hollow averaging a 4.4 rating among adults 18-49 in live-plus-7 day returns. Monday's finale also averaged 6.93 million viewers.

The weekend's news of Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis saying that there shouldn't be gay contestants on the ABC dating show had zero immediate effect on the ratings. The two-hour episode was steady with an average 2.3 rating among adults 18-49. 10 p.m. neighbor Castle (2.0 adults) was up a tenth of a point from last week. The network took a 2.2 adults rating and 8.2 million viewers for the night.

CBS is in good shape at 8 p.m., with steady episodes of How I Met Your Mother (3.0 adults) and 2 Broke Girls (2.7 adults) topping all broadcast offerings of the night. Mike & Molly (2.1 adults) and Mom (1.9 adults) each dipped by three-tenths of a point, while midseason freshman Intelligence (1.1 adults) dropped again -- shedding a tenth of a point from last week's time slot launch. CBS averaged a 2.0 rating in the demo and 7.6 million viewers.

New episodes of Hollywood Game Night earned 1.3 and 1.5 ratings among adults 18-49 on NBC. Those are down from last week's time slot occupant Ninja Warrior but up from the series' soft holiday outing in December (1.0 adults). Also, the latter stands as a new high for the series, which launched in summer 2013. The new lead-in made for a softer Blacklist (2.3 adults), down two-tenths from last Monday. NBC averaged a 1.7 rating and 5.9 million viewers over the three-hour block.

On the CW, Hart of Dixie (0.4 adults) was off a tenth of a point, while Beauty and the Beast (0.4 adults) rose by the same measure. The network averaged a 0.4 adults rating a 1.1 million viewers.
