LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

The actress has spoken out about making a third movie twice in the last month.
“A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell,” the 48-year-old actress told InStyle magazine. “But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever.”

She joked that she does not want to wait so long that audiences see Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda sporting “muumuus” over couture.
The actress also spoke about the possibility of another movie when she stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” in December.
“Not that I know of, I’m not ever being cagey, I really don’t know,” she said, when asked about another “SATC” movie.

“I think there might be, there is a story that could be told. I don’t know that we’ll ever tell it,” she added.
The first big screen installment based on the HBO series pulled in an impressive $152 million at the box office, while the second (which was panned by most critics) made $ 95 million.
