One Direction and The Wanted are among the nominees for Worst Band at the 2014 NME (New Music Express) Awards.
Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds To Mars, The 1975, Imagine Dragons and Muse were also nominated for the ignoble award.
One Direction has won the (dis)honor the past two years.
Meanwhile, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Russell Brand earned nods for Villain of the Year.
