LeAnn Rimes and Kevin Nealon witnessed a plane crash in Aspen, Colorado on Sunday that, according to authorities, claimed the life of one and seriously injured another.
The small private jet, which was en route from Tucson — and believed to have had three people onboard — crashed while attempting to land at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport.
Rimes tweeted, “So sad! Horrible plane crash we just saw happen at the Aspen airport.”
And Nealon wrote, “Horrible plane crash here at Aspen airport. Exploded into flames as it was landing.”
“Fire truck and ambulances were on the scene within minutes,” he added.
The airport has since been closed.
