LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

According to Celebuzz, the 50-year-old actor is engaged to Amber Heard.
A source close to the couple told the website that Johnny popped the question during the holidays.
“It happened on Christmas Eve,” the source said, adding that the 27-year-old actress didn’t immediately accept the offer. “Amber really took her time to make up her mind.”
Johnny and his partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis (with whom he has two children), announced they had split in June 2012.
Shorty after, Johnny and Amber – who met while co-starring in 2011’s “The Rum Diary” – were spotted spending time together.
The reported soon-to-be newlyweds made their red carpet debut as a couple just last week, at Art of Elysium’s 7th Annual Heaven gala, where they held hands and posed together.
