LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Chelsea Handler has made more than a few cracks about the Kardashian family during her years on late night TV.
Does the comedian get scolded by E! for taking verbal shots at her network “family”?
“Yes,” Chelsea told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live, when asked if she’s ever gotten in trouble for insulting the polarizing reality family.
“They say, ‘Please don’t do it anymore,’ and I’m like, ‘[The Kardashians] are cool with it – I know them, they know me,’” she added. “And then I just kind of continue. I don’t really care.”
The late night host, whose new book, “Uganda Be Killing Me” will be available on March 4, said she’s not really worried about upsetting the network nor the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

“Do I really care if the network’s mad at me? Or the Kardashians? No, I don’t,” she said with a laugh.
Chelsea also addressed whether or not she’ll continue hosting “Chelsea Lately.”
“I’m not leaving the show. I can’t leave the show, who’s gonna do it? It’s called ‘Chelsea Lately’! I can’t, unless we find Chelsea Clinton and tell her that she has to do a show called ‘Chelsea Lately,’ and then I take over her career, which is probably not gonna happen,” she said. “But I do a lot of other things to keep myself sane, so that’s why I write books, go on tour.”
