Amanda Bynes bong-throwing case will be dismissed if the actress stays out of trouble and goes to counseling two times a week for the next six months.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Bynes was arrested and briefly hospitalized last May after allegedly being caught with marijuana and throwing paraphernalia out of her Manhattan apartment window.

In court on Friday, she formally entered into a Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal deal with prosecutors, which requires her to continue therapy and obey all laws for six months in order for the case to be completely thrown out.

Bynes did not appear in court.

Her lawyer told reporters after the hearing, “This is an important step in her rehabilitation and she is pleased with the result.”

The former child star remains under the care of her parents in California.
