‘The Sing-Off’ Announces First Tour

NBC's The Sing-Off is hitting the road for its first live tour.

The winning a cappella group of season four – to be announced during the holiday strip's final episode airing Monday, Dec. 23 – will join a handful of finalists for The Sing-Off Live Tour!, which kicks off a 32-night jaunt Feb. 19 in Verona, N.Y.

Along with favorite performances from the seven-episode season, the tour will feature individual sets from each act, as well as new group numbers, Ultimate Sing-Off battles and other surprises.

"The incredible reception The Sing-Off has received this season is a testament to the show's ability to intrigue and move viewers with the sheer talent it showcases," said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming, NBC Entertainment. "The tour will be a unique experience for fans of the show to get up close and personal with their favorites groups and experience the magic of a cappella live."

Tickets are available at singofftour.com, with special ticket packages provided by VIP Nation.

News of the tour comes after the season premiere averaged a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49, up 26 percent from its third-season opener in 2011.

The show's inaugural cross-country jaunt also comes as one of the many changes implemented since Mark Burnett took over as executive producer, others of which include reverting back to its original holiday airing schedule, adding Voice-like sudden-death eliminations and mentorships, and introducing Jewel as a judge.
